The RAPIDE e-course "Let's get flipped!" that was piloted in the period June -November, 2022 proved as an excellent opportunity for the professional development of HE teachers, collaboration with international experts and peers, as well as a chance for unique co-creational experiences.
RAPIDE MOOCs are research-based short online modules include theoretical introductions to four major topics, best-practice examples and hands-on activities, related to innovative pedagogies and assessment, learning analytics and impact of innovative pedagogies. They were piloted online within Moodle, mainly asynchronously with several live sessions. Although designed to be attended in sequence, the MOOCs were developed to allow participants to skip respective activities although they were strongly recommended to take the course in its entirety.
The modules were be delivered according to the following timeline:
1. M1 Let's Innovate Teaching: Innovative Pedagogies: 27 June – 10 July 2022
2. M2 Let's innovate Assessment!: 5 September – 19 September 2022
3. M3 Learning Analytics: 26 September – 13 October 2022
4. M4 Impact: 17 October – 7 November 2022.
In total, 262 learners (mainly from partner countries) were gathered in 4 MOOCs. Since the project is based on co-creation all participants were invited to give feedback to their peers, experts and workshop creators on different aspects of design and implementation. Therefore, in the next few months the partners will use these valuable feedbacks to improve the result for possible future use, as well as present the experience within the multiplier events.
